Highlights of Trinidaddio Blues Fest

Trinidaddio Blues Fest takes place in Trinidad's Central Park on Saturday August 28th, 2004! Gates will open at 11:30 and music will begin at Noon sharp. Ticket prices are $15.00
for general admission and $30.00 for our limited preferred seating in the big tents facing the stage. Date: Saturday, Aug. 28th 2004. Sorry, no pets, coolers, food or drink allowed into the fest.

2003 Highlights!

Don't miss the 3rd Annual "All Star Blues Jam" featuring one of our top acts (TBA) as the headliner with lots of great players on stage all night. The Jam will be on Friday the 22nd of August at Trinidad's Lucky Monkey Night Club at 137 Cedar Street and will feature a buffet dinner, great drink specials and great beer from New Belgium Brewing Company! Coco Montoya: Alligator recording artist Coco Montoya is one of the top Blues/Rock guitar players and singers in the world! From Southern California comes the top headliner ever to perform in Trinidad

Jimmy Thackery & the Drivers: Telarc recording artist and legendary guitar virtuoso Jimmy Thackery (formerly of the Nighthawks) is hotter than ever! Far from his Washington, DC roots Jimmy now bases out of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Michael Coleman: Delmark recording artist Michael Coleman brings his "West Side of Chicago" funkified style to Trinidaddio for the first time!

Tad (TBags) Robinson & Alex (Guitar Czar) Schultz: Delmark recording artists (their new record that will be out before the Fest will be on Delmark or another top blues label!) TBags Robinson and Alex Schultz return for their third Trinidaddio Fest! Their latest effort is their best yet!

The Albuquerque Blues Connection: Trinidaddio Favorites...the "ABC" will make their fifth appearance and their fifth whipping of the Trinidaddio crowd into a frenzy! When "Mexican Jerry" and the boys take the stage...you better have your dancing shoes on!

Craig Horton: Bad Daddy recording Artist Craig Horton is fresh from his critically acclaimed "In My Spirit" CD from last year. This venerable veteran of the Blues has played with all the greats including being the one time guitar player for Little Walter. Craig Horton and his band will make the trip from San Francisco to Trinidad!

Tempa & The Tantrums: Denver based crowd favorites, Tempa & The Tantrums return for their second Trinidaddio. Tempa and the gang will really rev up the crowd with their up beat and solid tunes featuring lots of their own original material!

Metro Blues: Voted the "Best Blues Band in Colorado Springs" in 2002, it is going to be great to have Metro Blues play their first Trinidaddio Fest! George Whitesell (guitar and saxophone) and Calvin Benton (guitar) lead a great group of talented Colorado musicians!

Sow's Ear (formerly The Quattroids): From nearby La Veta, Sow's Ear deserves the great local following they have! With a broad repertoire and talent to spare, you'll want to come early to catch Sow's Ear's set!

Jaquie Gipson: Trinidad's own and our traditional opening act! This is Jaquie's fifth Trinidaddio and she sets the stage perfectly for the acts to follow. Her innovative guitar playing always leaves folks wishing that her set was longer!
