Trinidad Italian Club Picnic and Membership Drive

Trinidad, CO—The Trinidad Italian Club will host a potluck picnic, membership drive, and bocce ball games for families, friends and people of all ages.  The event will take place on Sunday, September 7, at 12:30 pm, next to the bocce courts at Cimino Park on N. Convent Street (across from the International Bank).

For admission, bring a covered side dish or dessert to share with others.  The club will provide punch and grilled Italian sausages, hamburgers, and hotdogs with the trimmings. 

Current, new, and renewing members can participate in a drawing for an Italian Gift Basket valued at $75. You do not have to be of Italian ancestry to participate--people of all ethnic backgrounds are invited to join the club and attend club events. 

You can learn how to play bocce and there will be games for players at all levels.  If you are interested in a tournament or regularly scheduled games in the future, please let club officials know.  They welcome suggestions and also need volunteers to help with events.

Currently in the works is a mini-film series featuring Italian and Italian American movies.  Past events include the Valentine’s Day Dessert Potluck, Saint Joseph’s Day Table, Gelato Social, a float in the Parade of Lights, and the Florentine Flag Throwers.
